One of the most demanding skills required to pass the Wu Shu Kwan 5th Degree Black Belt is the ability to smash an apple flying towards you using a Chinese three-section staff.
Through regular systematic training, both candidates successfully pulverised the apples at their crucial first attempt.
A high-speed camera captured the apples a split second after they were smashed.
